Lansing Township Parks & Recreation Master Plan 2018-2022

 

BON AIR PARK (Map)

This nearly 2 acre neighborhood park is located in the 300 block of Bon Air Street. It is a small facility designed to serve the needs of the local residents. The park features a playground, basketball court and swings.

 

 

GOULD PARK (Map)

This 1 acre park is located at the intersection of Gould Road and Timber Drive in the popular Edgemont Park Subdivision. The park features a playground, basketball court and a picnic area with a pavilion.

WINDEMERE PARK (Map)

This natural 6.75 acre park is wooded, accessible from Westfield Drive.  The park provides a small picnic area with a grill and a pathway to the playground at Windemere Charter Academy.

 

KEEGAN PARK (Map)

This park, nearly 10 acres, is a nature park at the end of Boynton Drive.  The park was donated to the Township by Thomas Keegan with the stipulation that the park remain natural.  While there is a small picnic area along the Grand River, the nature trails along the river are the main feature of Keegan Park.

SLATER PARK (Map)

This 8.5 acre park, with the main entrance at the intersection of Autumn Lane and Mark Avenue, features tennis courts, playground and a picnic area with a pavilion.  There is plenty of open space for your favorite pick up ballgame.  Slater Park is also home to the Lansing Township Community Garden, located at the southern end of Slater Park, near the Township Fire Station.  Please contact the Township office at 485-4063 for a Facility Use Agreement to reserve the pavilion.

 

ELIZABETH PARK (Map)

This 1.6 acre park is located in the 600 block of S. Charles Street.  Elizabeth Park provides two basketball courts, playground and lots of open space.
